QR Scanner is a free app that provides QR code and barcode scanning, QR code generation, and scan history management. No account or registration is required. The app currently supports Android.
By using the app or tapping “Confirm” on the welcome screen at first launch, you agree to these Terms. The app may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Reverse engineering, copying, redistributing the app, or creating or sharing QR codes for illegal purposes is prohibited.
Scanned and generated QR code data is stored only in your device’s local storage and is never transmitted to the developer’s servers. All data is deleted when the app is uninstalled. You are responsible for backing up any data you wish to retain.
Some features require camera, photos, contacts, or location (for Wi-Fi connection) permissions. Denying a permission only restricts the related feature; core app functionality remains available.
The app may display advertisements through Google AdMob. Whether ads are personalized depends on your consent settings, which can be changed at any time in the app settings.
The developer is not liable for service limitations caused by your device environment, damages arising from external services linked via scanned QR codes, or service interruptions due to force majeure.
All rights to the app’s software, design, logos, and other content belong to the developer. QR code images you generate belong to you; however, any watermark embedded in those images remains the property of the developer.
These Terms may be updated due to changes in law or service. Material changes will be announced at least 7 days in advance through the app or app store. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
