The QR Scanner app (“App”) does not collect or transmit user data to external servers. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled, how it is used, and how long it is retained.

1. Information We Handle

All data is processed locally on your device. Nothing is sent to the developer’s servers.

2. App Permissions

Denying a permission only restricts the related feature; core app functionality remains available.

3. Data Retention

Scan history	Until deleted by the user or the app is uninstalled
App settings	Deleted automatically when the app is uninstalled
Advertising ID	Until ad consent is revoked or the app is uninstalled

Scan history is stored in a local database (SQLite) on your device only. No scan data is ever sent to or stored on the developer’s servers.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following service to display advertisements.

Google AdMob

Data Controller: Google LLC
Data Collected: Advertising ID (only when ad consent is granted)
Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

For users in the EEA (European Economic Area) and UK, a Google UMP (User Messaging Platform) consent form is shown on first launch to obtain your choice on ad personalization.

The developer complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.

Withdraw Consent: Go to App Settings → Ad Personalization to change your preference at any time.
Right to Erasure: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in law, policy, or service. Material changes will be announced through in-app notices or app store release notes before taking effect.
